I find myself getting farther and farther behind in the power section of new gaming. My computer is an office computer that is relatively new and was great at the time I purchased it. It installs quickly and does not slow down your computer. I am still attached to malwarebytes, although this program is great so I suggest downloading and using them both. There is no perfect anti malware, so pair this guy up with your other favorite antimalware, and together they will keep your system free of spam, spyware, some viruses, and other junk. Advanced System Care

I found this tool recently and let me just say that for the "less advanced" computer users this is perfect. I would say this is similar to CCleaner although they have small differences. Advanced System Care is so simple I could install it on my grandparents computer and teach them how to use it in only 2 minutes.

While I think Advanced System Care is a great discovery for myself I don't think I will be uninstalling CCleaner since I think they could workwell together. It is generally a good idea to have more then one of any kind of malware program, that way what one doesnt get the other does. Just note that antiviruses that have "passive scanning" as in they are always running may conflict with each other, so if you have two antivirus make sure one is dormant.

For a long time now I had used AVG (Anti Virus Guard) as a free program to put on my customers computers. I would guess AVG was pretty efficient for about 1-2 years. However lately I had notice that my two favorite programs (Adaware and AVG) had been missing a lot of the current malware.

So I did some research and found Malwarebytes which I discussed in a earlier article, and Avast Antivirus. I am very happy as far as Avast's virus database since it seems to catch just about everything. Avast also has a feature that lets you do a "boot virus scan" which scans your hard drive before windows is loaded.

The only thing I could complain about is that Avast does not really have a good user interface, however you can download new "themes" is also comes with one that is better in my opinion then the original.

No one likes spam, especially not me. There are many ways to block spam as it arrive such as filters and scanners. My Trash Mail allows you to create a temporary email address either simple or password protected, this allows you to give out your junk email when registering for websites.

Why is this good? You may not be aware but the #1 reason for getting spam is because people naively enter then email address on any old sign up form. A majority of companies on the internet will use that address to do a couple of things, send you site updates, promotions, deals, or even give your email to their partner sites. This can mean trouble for your inbox.

So stop it before it begins! Use a temporary email when signing up, and then the junk will go to that inbox which is deleted after a couple of hours. Make sure you use your real email address if you intend to use the website a lot that you registered at. It allows you to recover your password if forgotten.

I'm gonna start by saying I have two computers, one is windows, the other Linux. So I am very open minded when it comes to operating systems. With that said now I can tell you how cool Linux is and you know I'm not one sided.

Let me make it short and just list some of the best features of Linux. Unlike Windows, Linux and Mac's have aroundless then 80 viruses. Windows has around 100,000 viruses.

Not only do Linux And Mac have less viruses but the way their operating systems work prevents the viruses from doing the same kind of damage that Windows is so used too. There is also many more security steps Linux takes.

Linux in my opinion is easier to use than Windows because it seems more user friendly. Instead of having a start menu you have seperate menus that handle different things, all labled accordingly. Another great thing about Linux is that it can be run directly from a cd, no installation needed. This method is great if you wanna try out the Linux operating system without having to reformat your computer.

There are a million reasons why I love Linux, not to mention its FREE, so go download it and try it today!

Ok now I apologize in advance that this one may or may not be a little too technical for some people. However due to the power of Google Analytics I felt that this one had to be discussed. What is Google Analytics? It is a site statistics program that allows you to monitor, track, and archive the visitors of your site.

What does that mean? Knowing how many people are visiting your site a day, where they are coming from, what keywords they are searching search engines for, how many pages on your site they view, how long they stay, and that is only the TIP of the iceberg.

It does take some time to set up (Estimated under 1 hour) however once you get it going this program will probably become your most valuable web site asset and a good friend. I check my statistics every day, and if I'm right, you will too :P

Malwarebytes is by far my new favorite spyware scanner. I used to use adaware which is great but lately it seems it isnt catching all the spyware. Malwarebytes finds all the spyware on my computer and removes it properly, unlike some programs which say they delete it but then it just pops up again. Also removes that pesky antivirus 2009 spyware which is a pain in the butt.

I have used this store for years to buy my computer, parts, accessories, and I recommend it to all my friends and computer repair clients.
