Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

Malwarebytes is by far my new favorite spyware scanner. I used to use adaware which is great but lately it seems it isnt catching all the spyware. Malwarebytes finds all the spyware on my computer and removes it properly, unlike some programs which say they delete it but then it just pops up again. Also removes that pesky antivirus 2009 spyware which is a pain in the butt.

Craigslist is a online community classified. You can sell things, buy things, find services, advertise services, find other singles, seek legal help, and all kinds of useful stuff. Craigslist is pretty popular but I felt I still needed to list it as not everyone may know about it. When you arrive at Craigslist.org just pick your country and city or the closest one to you. And then find the section you would like.

Cnet is a downloading community where you can review software, download it, read opinions, and view statistics such as downloads. Topics range from security protection to games and music. This site will hopefully save you some googling and get you what you want with little hassle.

Nir Soft

This site is PACKED with nifty password recovery tools, ip address tools, and more. Two of the most common tools would be the firefox and internet explorer password recovery tools. All the software is free. Just imagine being able to go into your computer run a program and pull up all of the stored passwords hassle free. If you're a computer tech this is extremely useful because a lot of customers forget their passwords.

Here's a short but sweet one. Image Shack is a free picture hosting company. You can use it to show pictures to your friends, show them on sites and forums, or even just make backup copies for yourself. Check out there site it's pretty self explanatory.

Social Marker

If you want to promote your own site, or just know of a helpful site you would like to share with others this is a great way. Social bookmarking sites are a great way to make a online bookmark that way others can view and use it as well.

A lot of these sites allow search engine following, allowing SEO which can boost your web sites page rank. However some of these sites are "nofollow" which means that google will not count them towards your page rank. Good luck!

My favorite online computer and parts stores is by far Tiger Direct. I have used this store for years to buy my computer, parts, accessories, and I recommend it to all my friends and computer repair clients. The reason why I like this store so much is because of their prices, not only are they lower then low but they even slash prices with deals, sales, promotions, and mail in rebates.

Please take some time to look at this site and compare there prices to local shops, they always beat them. And the delivery time is fantastic, not to mention there support. I bought a motherboard, decided I just didnt want it a week later sent it back and got a full refund.

With all the viruses out there today you would have to be crazy not to be protected. AVG is a older well trusted anti virus, it has free and paid editions. If you do decide to purchase AVG it offers higher levels of protection. Aside from virus scanning AVG has many cool features like email scanning and web page protection which will show you a green checkmark for safe sites you visit and will warn you when a web site you want to visit is dangerous. Free AVG is a great tool for home and/or business use.

If you're like me and hate googling to find a video you want to watch then today I have the solution. Surf The Channel is a video indexing site that allows users to submit links to videos into different categories such as anime, documentary, films and movies, funny, television, and lots more. DNFame

This tool is super handy. If you ever want to get statistics about a website such as its page rankings, backlinks, indexed pages, or any other info about a site then this is the tool. All you do is go to the DNFame site and type in the url and click submit. The information is returned in a nice graphical interface that makes it less of an eyesore to view like some of the less graphical alternatives. Anyways give it a try, check some websites!

Microsoft is one of the worlds leading providers of software products. Because they have such a large name people rely on them for programs and most do not stray, choosing to pay the price because they know Microsoft provides the quality they want.

Today we are going to discover that you don't always need to pay the price to get a high quality program. OpenOffice.org had been in development for over 20 years and they provide a free alternative to Microsoft Office. These two programs are both cross compatible which means if you create a file in one program, you can still use it in the other. So instead of paying for Microsoft Office try the free alternative, it has all the same features, just not the name brand. I promise you wont be disappointed.

CCleaner

Today we are going to be looking at a program called CCleaner. What does it do? CCleaner is a free registry cleaner/optimizer. It will scan your registry for errors and fix them, speeding up your computer and decreasing problems. CCleaner also has a junk remover which you can use to free up space.
